In the search for Petra Srncova, a body was discovered

Body found in search for missing nurse assistant Petra Srncova

A member of the public alerted police just before lunchtime on Sunday to Brunswick Park, where the 32-year-old had been last seen.

As part of the ongoing inquiry, forensic officers are still stationed around the park.

The police claim that the family of Ms. Srncova has been informed, but that formal identification has not yet occurred.

"Police have appealed for information to locate missing senior nurse assistant Petra Srncova from Camberwell," a spokeswoman said.

By 11.40am on December 12th, police were alerted to Brunswick Park, SE5 by a member of the public who had uncovered a woman's body," according to a press release.

"Officers remain on the scene. The death of the woman is being viewed as a mystery at this early stage. Petra's family has been informed of this development while formal identification is pending."

After catching two buses from her workplace at Evelina London Children's Hospital, Ms Srncova was last seen in the Camberwell area at 8.22pm on November 28.

On December 3, a concerned coworker called to report that she had gone missing.

Earlier today, a guy arrested in connection with her disappearance was freed on bail.
